Week 1: Should all businesses go digital?




The answer seems to be affirmative. Even though your business does not rely directly on any digital platform for lead generation, you might still need a website to maintain your brand presence online as nowadays people are spending much longer time on mobile devices for non-voice media. (Statista, 2018)

“As discussed so far, the world of the traditional media will continue to be a key way to reach a mass audience in developed markets and should not be overlooked. Going digital is challenging this phenomenon. In the near future, digital media will likely become the lead channel.” (AM730, Wk 7)

As we consider how the print media has been disrupted in the digital age, we will have a better idea of why every company should plan their digital marketing strategy ahead and react to the vast changing online landscape.
